Sint Maarten
I'm baaaack!

My pal decided to enter the blog world today! In honor of that and my unending stalking and reading of the "private" lives of others, i am back.
Pictures, reviews of wedding websites, housing and much much more.
Maybe I can even learn to blog on the GO!
In other news, I have developed a love affair with Cats.
I like to talk to YOU, my large audience of myself!

Faux Pixels
Anyway, this only adds much needed fuel to my desire to create a bad photo archive. It is my fear (not that major...) in life that one day children will never know the site of closed eye and big smile, and so forth. So, I urge my reader to not delete "bad" photos, and not touch up the rest. A call to a purer worse personal image. I leave you with this image, that I at first wanted to erase, but preserved, phew...

Council House 2

I just read about Australia's greenest building, on Inhabit.
Check it out: http://www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/info.cfm?top=171&pg=1941
Bike spaces: 80
Showers for cyclists: 9
Car spaces: 20 plus one disabled space. The car park can be converted to office space or other uses.
Payback period
It is estimated that in 10 years time the sustainability features will have paid for themselves. Further benefits that could reduce this figure include:
* healthier staff – less time lost to colds, flu and other illnesses;
* increased workplace effectiveness;
* less costs for public domain and infrastructure; and
* the value of building as a guiding light in sustainable building.
fantastic!

Unafforable Housing
It is a 4000 Sq. Ft. for 2 people, a banker and his lady. 5 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, and views that make me melt.
Check it out:
Also, the basement looks like the one at Magnolia Plaza, I am not sure if I posted it, but it def looks like a Magnolia hall.

HAND OF SPIDER LILLIE - Cased mixed media; created by R. Horne; aged; case: 5 1/2" x 10" x 7", EX. Est. 600-800 RIGHT HAND OF SPIDER LILLIE - LILLIAN PITTS OF KENT ENGLAND, A CONVICTED HABITUAL PROSTITUTE, WAS BANISHED TO A PENAL COLONY NEAR SYDNEY AUSTRALIA IN EARLY 1814. A STUDENT OF THE FLORA AND FAUNA OF THIS STRANGE LAND, LILLIAN SOON DISCOVERED THE SECRETIVE FUNNEL-WEB SPIDER, THE MOST POISONOUS SPIDER IN THE WORLD. LILLIAN THEN BEGAN HER CAMPAIGN OF DEADLY REVENGE AGAINST HER BRITISH WARDENS. GATHERING THE EGGS OF HER BELOVED SPIDERS SHE WOULD CONCEAL ONE IN HER FAMILY RING, AND WHEN PLYING HER FORMER TRADE UPON HER CAPTORS SHE WOULD OPEN HER RING, RELEASING THE HATCHLINGS INTO THE HAIR, CLOTHING OR BEDDING OF HER DOOMED PARAMOURS, KNOWING FULL WELL THE EVENTUAL BITE WOULD PROVE FATAL. FOUND OUT AND BETRAYED BY HER TRUSTED CELL-MATE, A MISS KAY CROSS, SHE WAS QUICKLY TRIED AND CONDEMNED TO BE HUNG. IN THE AUTUMN OF 1820 SHE WAS EXECUTED, AND HER INFAMOUS HAND AND IT'S HORROR BEARING RING WERE PLACED UPON A POLE IN THE HOT SUN OF THE PRISON COURTYARD AS A WARNING TO OTHERS CONSIDERING SUCH TREASON. THE HAND WAS TAKEN BY OFFICER HOWARD MAY, AND KEPT IN THE FAMILY UNTIL 1952 WHEN IT WAS DONATED TO OUR NOBLE INSTITUTE. REF. M. A. 1808

another old one, i'm all pig ears
Pig Ear Latin
Current mood: indescribable
Recently my dog, Sarah, has been lunging for the pig ear bucket at the pet store.
I, not being one to deny anything to anyone, oblige with pleasure.
Today, i discovered that this age old dog treat pastime is in fact--- real pig's ears! You can even see the veins. THE VEINS!
like that, except cured, like this:
So there you have it folks, I am at a loss.
This here is another kind of pig ear, much more to my liking: Succulent plant from southern Africa The Right Honourable The Earl of Derby
an old blog reposting... nails! it's true!

These are my top 3 nail art finalists.

Waterfalls and ice covered lakes? Your wish is someone's nail art reality.
Be all that your nails can be.
I came across Ted Kane, he did a whole study on Chinese shipping cranes in photographs posted on http://www.polarinertia.com/

scratching and sniffing!
IN CHINA:
Stamps were created to celebrate the Year of the Pig taste of sweet and sour pork.
When you scratch the front of the stamps, it smells of the popular chinese dish and when the back of the stamp is licked it tastes of the dish too.
Alas, they will not be on sale in March, sniff sniff.Look at the little tiny piggy pulling the tail! Imagine the taste of all them cooked! Yum!
#1: buildings, cranes, and snacks
It will be dedicated to edibles that through no special effort are suitable for persons with certain food allergies, no substitutes here. The real deal.
It will also be dedicated to affordable housing issues in Brooklyn, NY. Buildings that are in various states of occupation and surrender, I will chronicle the process during which a building becomes a home. This will include hard hat areas AND cranes, many cranes.
Also, curiosities that may cross my path.
Also, awesomeness.
Also, terrible grammar will be spotlighted.
